About this Event
Join us on a group walk from Castle Frank Station to Davisville Station led by EcoSpark Board Member and Geography Teacher at Riverdale CI, Paul Hackl to learn more about urban geography, build new relationships and see nature in a different way.
A message from Paul:
"Come and join EcoSpark to discover many connections to nature as we walk from subway to subway. We will focus on the biodiversity and historic rail lines in the city. Meet us a few steps north of Castle Frank subway station for a 2 hour walk and talk with Paul Hackl, Geography teacher at Riverdale CI and EcoSpark Board member. Bring your Presto card or funds for the subway. Hike will run rain or shine, dress appropriately, water bottle and good walking shoes.
We will be walking to Davisville subway station by way of Rosedale, Milkman's Lane, Evergreen Brickworks (with a handy washroom stop), up Mud Creek ravine, and through Mount Pleasant Cemetery, following the old Beltline Railway to Yonge Street and ultimately Davisville subway station.”
