'The Block' is comprised of five instrumentalists and long-time collaborators from the Vancouver R&B and fusion jazz scene, The group, led by bass player Matt Reid, formed as a means for the members to explore songs and arrangements not common in their work session careers. Expect funk, jazz, fusion, and hip hop all uniquely woven together.The group:
