Though sometimes an afterthought in thinking about our landscapes, the use of groundcover plants can often solve many design problems, and do much more than just cover bare ground and be low on maintenance.
In this presentation with NHG's Rusty E. Allen, thoroughly covered will be the best in these plants, some more commonly used, some not. We'll survey the common mondo and monkey grass, sure, but we'll also detail the many specialty plants that can give you more choices, and also look at other plants that are typically thought of as perennials and shrubs that can serve a groundcover purpose, too.
Plus, you'll see how the idea of using less water-thirsty lawn can be more than just plants, but also be design features that can make the landscape function better while still being less maintenance and more enjoyable than taking care of a lawn. FREE.
