CITY OF MIAMI BEACH LAUNCHES PHASE II OF LINCOLN ROAD CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT The City of Miami Beach has officially launched Phase II of its Lincoln Road/Drexel Avenue Capital Improvement Project, continuing the transformation of this key corridor into a pedestrian-first destination. The enhancements will elevate the experience between Lincoln Road and Española Way with new landscaping, expanded café seating, upgraded paving and lighting, and a new amphitheater-style performance space inspired by Morris Lapidus’s iconic MiMo design. There is a special groundbreaking ceremony on Friday, September 5, at 10 a.m. on the southwest corner of Drexel Avenue and Lincoln Road.
