Groovy Love Vibes is a band that came out of the Punk / Alternative Rock scene that got started in the Elgin, Illinois / Fox Valley area back in the late 80’s, and into the 90’s. Formed in 1992, what started as a simple Power-Trio Rock concept evolved over time and became a band that was pre-occupied with expanding their musical horizons.

Drawing from a variety of influences to shape their sound, GLV was able to play with a variety of bands from different genres. Bands that GLV shared the stage with include: The Smoking Popes, Apocalypse Hoboken, Tommyrot, Zen Guerilla, The Handsome Family, Madball, Thought Industry, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Screeching Weasel, Trenchmouth, Malhavoc, Morgue, Judge Nothing, Mount Shasta, Body Bag, Slapstick, The Bollweevils, Usherhouse, Thud, Schlong and more.

The band broke up in 1995. In 2009, the band re-united for a series of shows, all of which were well attended. Since then, GLV has re-united on a few more occasions based on requests to have the band play again, even to perform at fundraisers for local causes. In 2024, Groovy Love Vibes is together again! This time working on new material and is interested in playing shows in today’s scene.

Formed in 2017 in Chicago, Real Bad Real Fast features Matt (Matthew) Stanton on guitar and vocals, Ed Dudzinski on bass and vocals, and Ben Brundage on drums and vocals. Their sound blends hardcore, sludge, noise‑rock, post‑punk, punk rock, and metal—delivering raw, heavy, and energetic performances.
