Make your Own Groovy Boards (x2)
Join us on April 24th 6pm & May 1st at 6 pm for our "Groovy Board - 2 Boards in 2 Days" event! This in-person event will take place at 388 Carlaw Avenue Unit 200A, Toronto, ON M4M 3P1.
This is a 2 day class where you will be using the bandsaw, clamps and planer to create 2 boards that are unique, yet identical to each other.
In this class you'll learn to use the bandsaw to cut curves in horizontal and vertical patterns. To join the pieces you will learn lamination and practice it twice. You will start with 2 colour contrasting species of wood and mix the two together in alternating blocks, similar to a chess board. End results are 2 identical boards, keep both or gift one to your other half!
Note that this class takes place over 2 days.
