Learn how to groom your own dog on a one to one training day. Choose to do just the morning session or a full day depending on what breed your dog is. You will learn:Morning:
safe handling and restraint of a dog on a table
correct method for bathing a dog
drying and brushing a dog’s coat
how to safely cut nails
Afternoon:
safe techniques for clipping off a coat
theory behind clipping a matted coat
You will receive learning resources and a pair of safety scissors. Everything else will be provided for you to use. You must bring your own dog.
The morning is suitable for double and smooth coated breeds that do not require clipping (shepherds, collies, labradors). The afternoon is suitable for breeds that require clipping. We can accommodate hand stripping tuition but please contact us first. This course does not cover advanced techniques or scissoring skills.
Please contact us as soon as possible to arrange a date that's within 3 months of purchase. If we cannot give you a suitable date within that period we will offer you a full refund or extension. If you cannot attend your agreed date please let us know 7 days in advance of your date for a full refund. Cancellations less than 7 days before the agreed date will receive a 50% refund.
