Friday Events – Our Gift to the Community
As a way of giving back to the incredible community that supports us, all Friday events at Griot and Grey Owl 2024 are completely free to the public! Join us for the Opening Ceremony, Keynote Speech, and more, as we kick off a weekend of powerful storytelling and connection. However, please note that the Poetry Slam is not a free event and requires a ticket for entry. While you’re welcome to enjoy the rest of Friday’s programming on us, don’t miss your chance to grab a ticket for the Poetry Slam—an unforgettable night of spoken word!
