Nestled within Bloomington’s Griffy Lake Nature Preserve, the Boathouse offers calm, friendly water access. Rent a canoe, kayak, or paddleboard right where the ramp meets the water. Weekend rentals are limited to 2 hours.
Walk-up rentals are also accepted, provided there are fewer than 22 watercraft on the lake at the time.
Griffy Lake accepts cash and credit and debit cards (MasterCard, Visa and Discover only) for boat rentals, and for the purchase of 10-Rental passes and private boat launch fees. Griffy's pier, as well as its canoe and kayak launch, is accessible.

Good for 10, one-hour watercraft rentals. Available for purchase at the boathouse during regular business hours.
