The Day:
Day briefing: 8:45am-9:00am
Round 1: 9:00am - 11:30am.
Lunch: 11:30am - 12:15pm.
Round 2: 12:15pm-2:45pm.
Round 3: 3:00pm - 5:30pm.
Presentations: 5:45pm
Scoring points:
Victory: 3.
Minor Victory: 2
Draw: 1.
Loss/Minor Loss: 0.
Fully Painted: +20 points to victory points each battle.
Fully painted must also include basing that is all across the same theme for the army. Minimum of 3 colours for fully painted + wash + layering of some form. This will get judged over on round 1. Spraying your models from 3 different angles/colours will not be fully painted.
Custom Rules:
During each game you will have to search ruins, buildings, outcrops etc to find certain artifacts. These artifacts may bring you once off bonuses, magical items, and even victory points for your game.
Once an item is found call over the TO and you will then be rewarded. But be careful! Where loot can be gained, so too can dangerous traps be triggered.....
Who can search these areas you say? well while the main force is fighting the main fight, there are special units inside the army that can search and they are: Units with the Skirmish keyword, heros that are not attached to units on foot or cavalry. No monster heros or heros riding monsters may search.
How do we find such treasure:
End of each turn, a searching unit will roll a D6 for the below result:
6: Artefact found.
5: Potion/Scroll found.
4: 10 victory points.
3: Unit encounters a lone scout. Unit makes an attribute test.
2: Unit encounters a small ambush. Unit makes an attribute test.
1: Unit encounters a Griffon Keep Hero. Unit makes an attribute test on their lowest attribute.
Passing a test: Nothing happens and carry on as normal.
Failing a test: Each model in the unit suffers 1 x str 3 hit.
Prizes:
First Place: Award + Prizes.
Second Place: Prize.
Third Place: Prize.
Best Painted Miniature.
