Get ready for an unforgettable night of live music as Grieves, one of Seattle’s most respected indie hip-hop artists, brings his talents to Big Bear Lake! On Saturday, December 28th, the Village Sports Bar will host this all-ages show that promises to be packed with emotion, energy, and those signature beats that have made Grieves a standout in the hip-hop scene for over 20 years.Grieves’ career spans over two decades, making a name for himself as an independent artist with an incredibly diverse catalog. Known for his reflective lyricism and unique blend of soulful beats and raw emotion, Grieves first gained widespread attention after signing with Rhymesayers in 2009. Since then, he has toured the world, sharing the stage with major names like Atmosphere, Macklemore, Brother Ali, T-Pain, and more. His albums have hit the #1 spot on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart and landed him in Pitchfork, Playboy, and other major publications. Now, as an independent artist under his own label, Storm Watch Record Club, Grieves continues to make waves, most recently teaming up with longtime collaborator Mouse Powell for their 2023 EP, WHY NOT?.
Whether you’ve been following Grieves since his early days or are just discovering his music, this is your chance to see him live in an intimate mountain venue. The Village Sports Bar opens at 9:30 AM for regular business, but seating for the concert starts at 7:00 PM, with the show kicking off at 8:00 PM. Tickets are $25 for General Admission and $75 for VIP, which includes a special meet-and-greet experience with Grieves, exclusive merch, and more.
