About this Event
Join us for the Grief Workshop—a free workshop exploring the spectrum of grief through writing and movement.
With techniques borrowed from dance and Qigong, a Chinese practice involving moving meditation and breath work, will guide us through the ways heavy feelings and emotions sit in the body and how to release.
Then, through a writing session using prompts and conversation lead by , participants will get to explore ways to write and journal about grief.
While this workshop requires the willingness to go to and sit in uncomfortable feelings, it aims to create a safe space where participants can explore their relationship to grief and find new ways to share and release while being in community.
Although this event was inspired by the Lapu-Lapu tragedy, we invite everyone who can relate to sadness and grieving to attend.
