“Grief expressed out loud, whether in or out of character, unchoreographed and honest, for someone we have lost, or a country or home we have lost, is in itself the greatest praise we could ever give them. Grief is praise, because it is the natural way love honors what it misses.”― Martin Prechtel, The Smell of Rain on Dust: Grief and Praise
Amidst the swirling chaos of our modern world, we stand at a crossroads of collective healing. In acknowledgment of the profound strength found in grieving communally, we invite you to partake in a transformative journey of release and renewal through our monthly community grief ritual.
This is more than a mere gathering; it is a heartfelt dedication to the intricate tapestry of our shared human experience. Each story, each tear, each embrace weaves seamlessly into a vibrant tableau of healing and hope. Here, we honor our losses and the love that underpins them. This communal process of release becomes a sacred act of praise, recognizing that our grief is a testament to the depth of our love and connection.
Following the grief ritual we will have a potluck, please bring a dish. There is kitchen space to heat it up, if needed.
