Many of us offer grief support, in professional and roles within our communities. How do we know we've made a difference?
About this Event

In this three hour workshop, Paul Parsons will look at validated grief scales for adults and children, comparing them to more widely used, well known outcome measures.

There will be an opportunity to look in depth at how to use these tools therapeutically and to the benefit of a bereaved person.

We will look at both qualitative and quantitative measures and begin to understand the cues and cluses on the changes over time, emotionally, socially and practically after a person experiences a bereavement.

This workshop is ideal for anyone working with the bereaved including therapists, hospice care team members, care workers, social workers and more.

As a qualified counsellor for 20 years, Paul Parsons has led counselling services for children and adults and specialised in bereavement support over 10 years ago. He also has a Diploma in Trauma and PTSD. Paul is a qualified supervisor and has a private practice on the outskirts of Tunbridge Wells.
