As a companion piece to our show, Anthropology, Carroll Theatre will host a stand-alone community panel, “Grief in the Modern World: Memory, Care, and Emerging Comforts,” open to the public and accessible both before and after seeing the play. The panel explores sibling grief, complicated grief, end-of-life care, and the role technology can, or should, play in how people seek comfort, connection and meaningful lives. Panel will feature Carroll Faculty including Dr. Katherine Greiner (Theology), Beth Demmons (Wellness Center), Professor Jen Miller (Nursing), and Kelly Quinnett (University of Idaho Head of Acting and a Death Doula). Open to the public and accessible both before and after seeing the play.
