Join us for Module 2 of GRI for a lively discussion! We will have national real estate instructor, Geoffrey Long, discussing all things professional conduct and contracts, which will also count towards 15 hours of continuing education credit:

GRI Module 2: Standards of Practice
- Contracts and Forms: Understanding the contract is a key responsibility of a real estate professional. This course helps REALTOR® members to interpret the language used in contracts and forms to better serve their clients. 6 hours of CE
- Property Disclsoure: REALTORS® will understand the value of property disclosure and how it pertains to Oklahoma Real Estate Law. 3 hours of CE
- Broker Relationship Act: Course dealing with the Oklahoma real estate licensee's legal relationship with consumers. It is designed to fully immerse the participant in Oklahoma law. Broker duties and responsibilities are set forth for all transactions including inhouse transactions. OK's law is unique, in that it abrogates and replaces the common law of agency for real estate activities in the state. The importance of a written Brokerage Services Agreement is stressed, as is the section of the law dealing with confidentiality issues and their handling under the law. 3 hours of CE
- Financing Techniques: This course is used to familiarize the real estate professional with types of financing available to the consumer. It is to give an overview of current programs, credit guidelines, and investor requirements for various financing options to better serve both the seller and buyers of residential properties. 3 hours of CE
Water, coffee, and lunch will be provided to in-person attendees.
**Continuing education credit and post-licensing education credit are subject to OREC approval.
REFUND POLICY:
Refund of tuition {or deposit) will be granted, upon written request received in the OAR office at least ten {10) days prior to the first day of the REALTOR® Institute for which payment was made. For any written request received during the period beginning nine {9) days prior to the REALTOR® Institute up to the start of class, no refund of tuition paid will be granted but will be transferable to the next Institute. Exceptions may be granted by approval of the Professional Development Committee.
Students may transfer tuition on request. Any student transferring to the next Institute will be required to pay an additional sum to equal current tuition fee, if increased.
