Banquet Served Buffet-Style — $30/person
Menu: Braised Beef Tips (gf), Chicken Marsala (gf), Cheesy Potatoes (gf), Green Beans (gf), Summer Strawberry Salad or Garden Salad (gf), Dinner Rolls, and Assorted Desserts. A small fruit tray is available for Vegan guests.
Drinks: Lemonade, Iced Tea, Infused-Water and Coffee
Doors Open at 5:30 p.m. with dinner at 6:00 p.m., Free Program: “Hidden History of Grand Rapids: Boulders and Bricks, Steel and Glass” to follow at 7:00 p.m.
Parking: There is some lot parking north of the Community Banquet Facility. Most metered street parking is free after 5:00 PM. Always be certain you read the meter for details.

This change reflects the history of Grand Rapids' built landscape. The shift from using stones to the use of bricks or the transition from no building regulations to the rise of building ordinances; the history of constructing methods may seem mundane, but this hidden history of the city is seen on every street. Matthew Ellis will share from his book, Hidden History of Grand Rapids, which delves into the history of building methods.
