There’s no substitute for seeing your work on the big screen. We’ve all been there: the night of the premiere and spirits are high but then you see that shot you would have held for a few more frames, the sound design you would have bumped a few more dB’s now that you can feel the bass in the theater. So here’s what we’re offering:
We’re opening the micro cinema to screen any rough cut of a short film (or a scene or two of a feature) and provide a fresh audience for you to use to gauge where your film’s at. For free.
You’ll get a projector screen, stadium seating, booming sound, and people who have never seen a frame of your project yet. You’ll be able to submit some questions in advance to have printed out for your audience survey.
We encourage anyone in the community to attend and share their thoughts to help filmmakers shape their film!
We’ll be accepting as many shorts and scenes as we can in the time allotted, but it’ll be a first come first serve basis.
What you you’ll need:
A finished rough cut (no assembly edits please) submitted 72 hours before the event.
What you WON’T need:
Perfect sound mix.
Finished VFX.
Colored footage.
