About this Event
Nicola Farnon, one of the UK's top jazz and swing singers and double bassists, regularly performs at top venues and festivals, including Glastonbury, she has also toured Ukraine and appeared on BBC Radio 3. Farnon has collaborated with jazz greats like Dave Newton, Digby Fairweather, Jim Mullen, and Alan Barnes. Known for her passionate style and charismatic stage presence, she captivates any audience.
Nicola's trio (Richard Wetherall and Phil Johnson) packs a punch with vocals, double bass, piano, sax, drums, and percussion. They perform popular standards, Nicola's catchy originals, and classy arrangements of swing, Latin, and heartfelt ballads. Their performances are original, warm, witty, and full of genuine love for music and melody, joyfully entertaining and swinging your socks off!
With songs, dancing, listening as well as bubbles, percussion, props and informal introductions, this is a fun and informal gig for adults and their children aged 0-5 years.
