Welcome nature lovers and photo friends to the February 2026 session of our Mt Greylock Photography Group! This group is for everyone who loves nature and would love more opportunities to photograph the beauty of our majestic mountain! Greylock Photography Group Meet-Up: WATER & ICE / HEARTS IN NATURE!
Gearing up for our Water & Ice / Hearts in Nature Photography Group Meet-Up on Saturday, February 14th at 1:00pm! OPEN TO ALL AGES and skill levels!
We will be returning to Peck's Falls in the Greylock Glen for our February Photography outing! Please park at the NEW GREYLOCK GLEN OUTDOOR CENTER parking lot on GOULD Road in Adams (in the Greylock Glen). We will meet in the GREYLOCK GLEN OUTDOOR CENTER and then walk a short, moderately steep trail to Pecks Brook Falls. Bathrooms are available in the OUTDOOR CENTER.
NOTE: Bring poles if you have them and WE RECOMMEND WEARING TRACTION DEVICES for your boots.
Trail conditions may be snow-covered, wet, and ICY. The walk down to Peck's Falls is SHORT but somewhat steep. Please call the Visitor Center at (413) 499-4262 to check on trail condition updates on Saturday.
On this outing, we will be adding a February Valentine's theme to our "Water & Ice" adventure with a special "Hearts in Nature" challenge!
We've all seen them, here and there, showing up in the strangest places ~ Hearts in Nature! Catching our eye in the organic formation of a cloud, a rock, moss on a tree - random natural formations that looks like the shape of a heart.
This year our Hearts in Nature challenge is going VIRTUAL! Too far away for a snowy drive to the Berkshires? No worries! Feel free to get out and enjoy the fresh air in your own neighborhood or favorite photo spot and you can still join in on the fun! And for those of you who can come along and join us on our February 14th photo group outing - feel free to bring your sweetheart if you like, and keep your eyes open for that very special, organically created Valentine's themed, "Hearts in Nature" image to share with the group and/or your special someone! This program is FREE and open to all ages. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Program duration 90 minutes.
