Greyhounds as Pets WA (GAPWA) is thrilled to invite all seasoned greyhound lovers and potential adopters to our Spring Adoption Day on Saturday 29 November 2025 where love will bloom!Come to our Southern River facility and meet our loveable, lanky larrikins ready to find their forever homes. Visitors can attend pre-booked adoption appointments throughout the morning that give you plenty of time to connect with your potential furchild.
Spring has sprung and there’s no better season to open your heart and home to a greyhound. Our team will help match you with the perfect pooch pal to suit your lifestyle and offer guidance and support every step of the way.
This event offers three one-hour Meet and Greet sessions; 9am, 10am, and 11am. During the sessions attendees will be introduced to suitable dogs with the intention of welcome their greyhound home on the day.
Please note: if you have cats and/or young children, please book the 9am session. The dogs suited to these homes are very popular and will likely find homes in the first session. Dogs will not be held.
