This is a patch event, you MUST complete the entire event to earn your patch!In the 1984 comedy, Gremlins, a gadget salesman buys a special gift for his son at a store in Chinatown. The shopkeeper reluctantly sells him a cute but mysterious creature known as a “mogwai,” with a warning to never expose him to bright light, water, or to feed him after midnight. When his son fails to heed these rules, he accidentally unleashes a horde of malevolent creatures on a small town.
Welcome to the Gremlins Ruck! For this month’s Halloween-themed event, we will similarly fail to heed the shopkeeper’s warnings, unleashing some mischievous good fun on the area.
We will step off from Boast Only CrossFit in Groveland at midnight on the 18th (Friday night into Saturday morning). Pack your rucks and make them waterproof, we will be getting soaked before step off! Expect around 4 miles for the distance and choose weight based on your ability. For the Gremlins who complete the ruck, a custom patch will be awarded at the end! See you out there!
