In a city where you can't order an espresso without bumping your esophagus on a live musician, Gregory Hyde and Brian Allison invite you to yet another weeknight concert. But THIS ONE will be DIFFERENT!!!
How? Because Gregory and Brian aren't playing any of those other shows.
Yes, it’s a songwriter night.
Yes, there will be original songs.
But there will also be stories about writing those songs, stories about not writing those songs, and occasional conversational detours that may or may not return to the original point.
Gregory (joined by world-class guitarist/vocalist Adam Curry) and Brian will trade songs, stories, punches in the nethers, and interrupt each other in a manner best described as “almost professional.” Expect heartfelt moments, unexpected laughter, and at least one anecdote about getting a song placed on Here Comes Honey Boo-Boo.
If you enjoy:
• good songs
• honest storytelling
• mild absurdity
• and the comforting knowledge that you chose this coffeehouse over the other 47 live shows happening within driving distance
…then this night is for you!!!
Come early. Stay late (show ends around 8:30pm, so "Assisted Living Center" late). Order something with foam on it.
Weeknight concerts build character. Come be your best you.
