Each week, Secret Society Comedy is proud to host the nation's best touring, regional, and local comedians providing a unique comedy club experience in different spaces with different vibes. You never get the same show twice!
The Cleveland Winery in Old Brooklyn is the perfect venue to attend a "secret" comedy show where you can celebrate life's wins, have a unique date night, or just break up the typical weekend routine with laughs and a bottle of wine, without having to go far from home.
Who is your headliner?
Greg Kennedy is a Chicago based stand up comedian who performs regularly at his home club, The Laugh Factory. He is the regular opener for big comedy names such as Geoffrey Asmus and Marcello Hernandez and has showcased his talents at comedy festivals such as; Madison Comedy Week, Laugh Your Asheville Off, Cream City Comedy Festival, Let’s Fest, and The Cleveland Comedy Festival. Fans of Greg often describe his style as if Dog the Bounty Hunter met Cedric the Entertainer.
Who is your feature act?
Mandee McKelvey was recently named one of the 50 best undiscovered comics in the country by Thrillist, and it's not hard to see why. As one of the midwest's most acclaimed stand-up comedians, her candor, touch of vulgarity, and infectious sense of humor reveal an earnestness and vulnerability that invites us to find the humor in tragedy.
Mandee was named a breakout performer at Limestone Comedy Festival and the Memphis Comedy Festival, and has recently featured for Whitney Cummings, Michelle Wolf, Laurie Kilmartin, Tig Notaro, Todd Barry, and Anthony Jeselnik.
Her one-woman show, “My Left Boob”, received the Underdog Award for it’s sold-out debut at the 2019 IndyFringe and Kansas City’s Best of Fringe award in 2022. In 2023, she received a grant from the Kentucky Foundation for Women to film her first comedy special.
