Montana native Greg Eliel is part of a rare group of horsemen who studied firsthand with Tom & Bill Dorrance, Ray Hunt, and Buck Brannaman. His teaching carries forward their legacy with clarity, depth, and heart.
Greg is a wonderful horseman and teacher. He will take the time to help each person learn at their level and learning style. Many of the clinic participants have been coming back every year to keep progressing. All disciplines, from casual riders to competitive show riders and professionals, can benefit from a clinic with Greg.
Horsemanship 1 will start with 2 days of groundwork to lay a solid foundation and prepare for riding. Then continue to build to saddling and riding as you are ready the 3rd and 4th days.
Horsemanship 2 is usually mounted all 4 days. As much groundwork as you and your horse might need. Building straightness, softness, suppleness, and impulsion. Using these building blocks to help horse and rider improve their partnership and performance within their chosen discipline.
