Annual Fall clinic with Greg Eliel Sat Oct 18-Tues Oct 21.This is Greg's 23rd yr returning to Wildwood Farm, kinda think that means something! Expect lots of laughs, fun and certainly plenty of learning thrown in to better your relationship and bring you and your horse to a new level of understanding of one another. Please consider joining us regardless of your riding discipline everyone is welcome. Classes offered this Fall are Control and Confidence 9-11am daily: This class is mostly if not all ground work.You’ll learn how to create a place of comfort for your horse when anxiety-triggering events happen at home, on the trail, or at a show. Gain a new understanding of how your horse is feeling in those reactive moments, and learn the skills to be your horse’s leader by directing their feet to regain control in even the scariest situations. Horsemanship 2 11am-1pm daily: Refining straightness, suppleness and impulsion. Lunch 1-2pm daily. Working Equitation 2-4pm daily: Using obstacles to create precision and fluidity in transitions, build confidence and harmony, and establish rhythm of gaits. Greg also offers private lessons on Friday Oct 17. Clinic cost $425per class or $375per class if participating in multiple classes. Stabling $75 and Private lessons $100/hr or $150/hour and a half. Please pm for more info. Auditors welcome $30/day bring a chair and lunch. We will also have Cowgirl East Tack and Wear here for the weekend owned by Kristy Green. She has a tent filled with hand made goods from women owned businesses from hand tied mohair cinches, headstalls, wild rags, rope halters and leads, conchas, Sun Body straw hats, leather purses, jewelry etc.
