About this Event
Greetings, Universe!
Greetings, Universe! Are we alone in the universe? How would we introduce ourselves to an extraterrestrial civilization? In this Design Challenge, we’re combining design thinking with interstellar diplomacy!
In this immersive experience, participants will consider the profound implications of intergalactic outreach. How might we communicate the essence of humanity to other complex life forms?
Your mission, should you choose to accept it:
Working in small teams, you’ll design a representation of humanity to the cosmos. Guided by popular theories on Fermi’s Paradox and curated design briefs, participants will work in a fun environment to rapidly sketch, prototype, and pitch their creations. This is your chance to think outside the box and showcase human ingenuity, creativity, and spirit.
This is a low-stakes opportunity to network with other creatives in disciplines outside your practice. Often the most incredible works come out of the most unexpected partnerships!
