Join us to welcome Gabe Piechowicz with Everyone Village and Jesse Quinn with Lane Workforce Partnership, to share two innovative efforts shaping the future of Lane County and beyond. Gabe is the Founder & Executive Director, and began his work at Everyone Village in the summer of 2021 as he pioneered creative and effective solutions for the City of Eugene’s response to the worsening homelessness crisis. Jesse Quinn is the Community Engagement Director at Lane Workforce Partnership with over 10 years of leadership experience in nonprofit management and higher education.
Team Oregon Build is an education–industry partnership that connects students to career pathways in high-demand construction trades. To date, youth across Oregon have built 440+ housing units, with 6,000+ students engaged and 50+ local and regional partners impacted—all while developing skills that prepare them for high-wage careers. At the same time, Everyone Village is expanding its vibrant campus with a 10-bed recuperation wing and a new on-site clinic built by 4J Future Build students, in partnership with PeaceHealth and Volunteers in Medicine. This project offers a safe place to heal for unhoused hospital discharges, wraparound support for residents, and a model of healthcare and housing working hand-in-hand. Together, these programs showcase how collaboration in education, housing, and health can strengthen resilience and transform lives.
