Once a year the best Chili makers in Greer convene to see who will be this year's Chili Champion! We have a host of local expert judges and wide variety of Chili contestants, but we need your help to help us award the title of people's choice! Chili Tickets are just $1 per taste, proceeds help fund the market as we go into our 10th year here in Greer in 2025. Tickets can be bought and votes can be cast at the Greer Farmers Market booth during the market. Our expert Chili Judges:

🌶Mark Hopper, Greer City Council
🌶Judges table host: JH Boman, SCBA certified BBQ judge.
Our 12 Chili Contestants:
🎫Breath of Dawn, VA: Venison chili with local additions.
🎫White Wine and Butter: TBA
🎫Rob" Sweet Heat Chili (Spartanburg District 6: Robert Glackin): Sweet Heat chili, with a twist. Turnips are a surprise guest in my chili with other local veggies.
🎫Clean Simple Delicious Chili 4 Ya (Balance Bakery): Beef chili with beans, all natural ingredients including the heat.
🎫Anita's Spicy Beef n Bean Chilli: Spicy beef and bean chili.
🎫 Ashton’s Chicken Chili (Joy Real Estate): A hardy yet light twist on traditional chili.
🎫Twisted Q BBQ (Twisted Q BBQ-SC): Texas red chili- Hearty pieces of beef, pork, and veggies with a smoky peppery flavor. No condiments needed.
🎫TBA: Beef Pork and Veal Chilli w beans, tomato and trinity medley base, with world spices to celebrate both the old world and new southern heritage of cooking. Spice level medium.
🎫Chili2 The Sequel: Beef chili made with all kinds of peppers, beans and a few secret ingredients to give it the right amount of zing.
🎫 Texas Smoked Lentil Chili: Vegan with smoked cashew parmesan cheese on top. Can be turned into a delicious walking taco.
🎫 TBA (A Taste of Arabia)
🎫 Thanksgiving Chili: brings a new level of flavor you'll be thankful for! It features ground turkey and sweet potatoes, complimented by additional veggies, herbs, and spices that create a perfect blend of seasonal flavors. You can expect a flavorful balance of sweet, savory, and heat to satisfy any cool-weather craving.
Taste tickets are just $1 each- purchase one ticket per vendor you want to try.
