About this Event

Join Brooklyn Greenway Initiative for a one-of-a-kind community celebration this fall! We’re hosting our first-ever Bluegrass Jam and community festival in the scenic, historic setting of the Naval Cemetery Landscape. We want you to be part of it! This family-friendly event will feature live music, local food and drinks, and festive fall activities.

At 1:00 pm, we will be hosting a children's costume parade, with prizes for attendees.

This event is free and open-to-the-public! Registration is not required (but we appreciate you letting us know that you will be there).

Costumes are encouraged!

Getting there:

We recommend walking, biking, or taking public transportation. There will be bike racks to park your bike onsite.

If putting in directions in a GPS app / taking Uber or Lyft – we recommend inputting the GPS Pin of Kent Ave + Hooper Street and being dropped off there. While on Kent, make a right on Williamsburg West Street via foot.

About The Naval Cemetery Landscape:

Speak to our gardeners and learn about the Naval Cemetery Landscape (NCL) and the Greenway and what goes into maintaining their beauty and accessibility for everyone! The Naval Cemetery Landscape is fully operated, made open as a public space and able to provide free public programs like this solely by Brooklyn Greenway Initiative through the generosity of our supporters.

We're excited to feature a Bluegrass Jam at our event! All musicians are welcome to join us and jam from 11 am - 1 pm and 2 pm - 3 pm. (We will take a short intermission for the costume parade).

We're proud to feature our lead musicians:

Christian Apuzzo

Bobby Hawk

Cesar Moreno

Erik Alvar

If you'd like to join the jam, please let us know when you register!
