Greenshine's music straddles the boundaries of Folk, Indie and Americana with outstanding harmonies, skillful stringwork and critically acclaimed songwriting. RTE's John Creedon said of the band: "They have produced one great track after the next over the last few years." Their latest album NEW MOON ON FRIDAY was awarded "Album of the Week" on many radio stations including BBC Scotland & BBC Ulster while six singles from the collection were included on the RTE Radio 1 Recommends Lists with 'Sweet Dreams' reaching the #1 spot in the station's Airplay Chart. Greenshine's beautiful 'The Girl in the Lavender Dress' went on to be 2nd most played Irish track in the year of its release on RTE Radio 1, launching the trio into the consciousness of music lovers far and wide. Noel and Mary have leant their talents to the recordings of other artists such as Christy Moore, The Republic of Loose, John Spillane and many more. Listen out for Ellie's voice on TG4's cartoon show 'Gus, An Ridire Beag Bídeach'! The trio's latest single 'CORK', has received extensive airplay on many stations up and down the country, along with RTE Radio 1, BBC Radio Scotland and WRFG Atlanta Georgia - surprising for a song that was composed to celebrate a particular city! People have responded to the Universal love of place all people have for their home of choice.
