This is going to be an AWESOME DAY! Our first ever FIELD TRIP EVENT, to the Greensboro Science Center in Greensboro, North Carolina!
Participants will enjoy an entire day filled with fun, excitement and adventure at the Greensboro Science Center! The Carroll County Parks & Recreation Department has secured a travel Charter Bus to depart the Carroll County Parks & Recreation Office located at
129 Ballpark Drive, Hillsville, Virginia at approximately 8:00am on Saturday October 25th 2025 and to return the same day at approximately 5:30pm. The associated cost is $20.00 per person that will be paid upon arrival to the Science Center at the check in desk for tickets. No payments will be made to the Parks & Recreation Department.
Anyone hoping to attend that day should sign up at the Parks & Recreation Office prior to the day of departure with a limit of 50 participants. Any child attending must have the presence of a guardian with them. There is no cost for travel, but participants will need to pay for their own admission and food onsite.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own water, snacks and food if they would like and are encouraged to arrive at the office by 7:30am. Thirty minutes prior to departure. For any questions, please contact our office at (276)-730-3191.
