The countdown to the federal election is here. The election could be called anytime from now until May, which means we are all systems go.We’ll be announcing all of our Greens candidates at this event, so come along to find out who will be running across South Australia!
These candidates are vital for growing the Greens movement, giving people the chance to vote for Greens representation in their community.
Together, we can lift the Greens vote across the state, so that we can re-elect Sarah Hanson-Young to the Senate. We’re also campaigning to make history, by electing Katie McCusker to the seat of Sturt in Adelaide's east.
By winning in the Senate, we can push to stop approving new coal and gas, end native forest logging, and put dental into Medicare.
By winning in Sturt, we can kick out a member of the Liberals, so we can stop Dutton and potentially hold the balance of power in both houses.
This federal election, the voters of South Australia will be crucial to the Greens fighting for what matters and stopping Dutton.
