The year of 2024 will mark 50 years since the first person moved into the Greenleys estate. To celebrate this anniversary, Wolverton & Greenleys Town Council along with Milton Keynes Museum, will be hosting a joint event at Milton Keynes Museum. The Living Archive MK and Wolverton & Greenleys Town Council will present a special exhibition, Greenleys at 50 – A Glimpse Through Time, between 15th June – 7th July 2024 at the Wiki Pavilion in MK Museum’s New Gallery. Looking back at the early development of the estate and the people who have made the community over the last 50 years. Pop along and have a chance to learn or reminisce about the people involved in sport, school life, the early shops and of course the first residents who moved to Greenleys. The exhibition will also include some archive film footage.
There will be a whole host of free games and activities for families to get involved in, as well as live entertainment from the band stand. Food stalls and a beer tent will also be available.
