Greening the City: Children's Planting Workshops at Britomart

Bring the kids into the city during the school holidays and join Caleb Scott, who runs the plant nursery at The Landing, for this free half-hour workshop for children that covers the basics of planting and successfully raising native trees from seeds or seedlings. Caleb will have soil, seeds, seedlings and pots on hand to make explaining the process easy. Each participant gets to take home a tree to plant. Numbers are limited so registration is essential.
