Gather your friends, family, coworkers or community group and join us for the next Green Up the Blue: Community Cleanup Day! We need your help to keep our outdoor spaces clean. Choose to beautify streams, greenspaces or roadsides across Blue Springs. Check-in and day-of registration begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Pink Hill Park Maintenance Building with a kick-off meeting to begin at 9 a.m. Registration is required.-Stream Team – focus on streams, creeks, ponds and lakes to clean up banks and surrounding areas
-Guardians of the Green – focus on greenspaces such as parks or areas not in the right-of-ways
-Roadside Wranglers – focus on right-of-ways at I-70 and Woods Chapel Road; I-70 and 7 Highway; and I-70 and Adams Dairy Parkway
What to Bring: Comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes, Reusable water bottle, Gloves (if you have them), Lots of energy and a smile!
We Provide: Trash bags, Gloves, Trash pickers, A chance to make new friends and give back to the community!
Volunteers of all ages welcome!
*Any volunteer under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age to work on the Roadside Wranglers team.
