About this Event
Let's get ready for the summer by exploring some exciting ways of using seasonal produce from our gardens, community gardens, or a the market or shop. By the end of this workshop you will...
- Know which foods are in season over the summer months
- Be able to make some beautiful summer recipes, including a seasonal cordial, a pickle, and a super garden/ foraged pesto.
- Sow some herb and salad seeds to grow on at home and enjoy later in the summer.
Please bring two medium glass jars with lids with you if possible.
Tea, coffee, squash and biscuits will be provided - plus tasters of the recipes. We have accessible toilets and the site is wheelchair accessible. Please arrive from 5:45 for a 6pm start.
Children aged eight and over are welcome to attend with their grown up but please be aware that this workshop is aimed at adults.
