SUNY Broome Chef instructor Maleah Farr returns to explore the fundamentals of simple pasta making. While she primarily teaches Baking Principles, she also leads some community workforce education workshops. Her love for food education began with her own experiences baking at home, eating while traveling, and learning from a diverse array of teachers around the world. One of her favorite experiences was learning to make lacto-fermented green papaya kimchi in a rural community of Mastatal, Costa Rica. At this hands-on workshop, we’ll only need flour, eggs, and salt to open up a whole world a pasta-bilities.This workshop is FREE and open to the public. A suggested donation of $5-$10 is appreciated.
