About this Event
Join Bameen, Bora Shabaa, Hull Afro Caribbean Association, Solidarity Hull CIC, Welcome House, HEY Smile Foundation and Hull and York Medical School to celebrate the work we have done to connect global majority populations in Hull with the outdoors and nature to support good health and wellbeing.
This was part of the national 'preventing and tackling mental ill health through green social prescribing' extension programme that ran across 2024 to 2025.
Meet the organisations involved, find out more about the activites they run, hear from those that took part and learn about the impact and evaluation carried out in partnership with Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust and Hull and York Medical School.
Refreshments and food will be provided. Following networking and presentations, there will be optional activities to take part in, including a local walk!
A full agenda will be shared soon!
