About this Event
Welcome to the Green Shoots Children's Gardening Club! Join us at Four Acre Farm every Thursday from Apr 18 2024 at 10:00 AM for a fun-filled morning of gardening and nature activities. Children will have the opportunity to get their hands dirty, learn about growing healthy food and enjoy the outdoors.
Sow and Grow: Learn the magic of nurturing your garden the no-dig way
Harvest: healthy vegetables, delicious fruit and beautiful flowers
Cook and Eat: tasty treats using fresh veggies and herbs
Relax: take some time out in the wildflower meadow or bell tent
Discover: the birds, bees and crawlies that share the 'Green Shoots' garden
Adult's Corner: Help yourself to tea, coffee and biscuits

Useful Information
- There is limited parking at the farm so please car share with friends if at all possible.
- Please supervise young children and be aware that there is open water at the farm.
- The ground is uneven and can get muddy so please wear suitable shoes/boots.
- Dress for the weather as activities are outside but there are some covered areas if it decides to pour!
- There is a compostable toilet at the farm!
