BayREN, StopWaste, and Franklin Energy present: Green Mentoring Session 2
Here's your opportunity to take what you learned in the classroom at the NAR Green Designation Training and put it into practice. Work on a Green Real Estate project of your choosing and receive 10 hours of mentoring from John Shipman (up to six hours of one-on-one instruction).
- Come together with 10 other Green Designees to meet and craft your own unique green real estate project.
- Work closely with John to discover available local green resources to utilize on your individual project.
- Some projects may be chosen to be showcased by BayREN or other agencies, but all projects will be a great source of sharable information for your own green real estate marketing efforts.
- Lunch will be provided.
About BayREN
The is a collaboration of the nine counties that make up the San Francisco Bay Area. Led by the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG), BayREN provides regional-scale energy efficiency programs, services, and resources. BayREN is funded by utility ratepayer funds through the California Public Utilities Commission, as well as other sources, drawing on the expertise, knowledge, and proven track record of Bay Area local governments.
BayREN provides trainings specifically for real estate professionals to enable market recognition of the value of a green home during real estate transactions. Trainings also help real estate professionals understand the basics of an energy efficient home and available resources, such as incentives for upgrades and assessments offered through BayREN.
