In celebration of Earth Day Columbus 2022. Volunteers are needed to help keep Green Lawn Cemetery green, clean, and dignified!Founded in 1848, Green Lawn Cemetery is the second largest cemetery in Ohio. Spanning over 300 acres it represents a vast treasure of history and architecture. A registered arboretum that is home to several state champion trees, and a designated Audubon Important Bird Area.
All supplies & tools provided: litter grabbers, gloves, trash bags.
Safety briefing and orientation at 10am.
Meet at the main cemetery office. Drive a short distance into the cemetery and office is on your right.
This service event will proceed rain or shine. It will be cancelled only if unsafe weather (lightning, thunderstorms, high winds) is occurring or imminent.
