Green Lake Pathway of Lights

Green Lake Community Center’s Pathway of Lights has been a Seattle tradition for over 40 years. Every second Saturday of December, rain or shine, a small army of volunteers light the path around Green Lake with thousands of luminaries. Visitors and their furry friends enjoy a magically lit stroll around the lake, accompanied by warm drinks, sweet treats, sponsor giveaways, and musical performances.

This cherished free community event is made possible by Seattle Parks and Recreation, dedicated volunteers, and local businesses around the lake.
