Programa de Certificación de Mejores Prácticas de Industrias Verdes (GI-BMP,) para prácticas adecuadas de fertilización, control de plagas, riego y cultivo para profesionales del control de plagas y paisajismo. CEU disponibles. ¡Esta clase también incluye un almuerzo y aprendizaje adicional (¡con SWAG!) sobre seguridad contra las manchas solares.
Quién debe venir: cualquier persona que trabaje en el cuidado del césped, control de plagas, paisajismo o irrigación/Administradores de propiedades/Empleados de la ciudad y el condado, incluidos parques, aguas pluviales, adquisiciones y planificación/Arquitectos/diseñadores paisajistas.
Por qué debería venir: Todos los aplicadores comerciales de fertilizantes deben tener una licencia del Departamento de Agricultura y Servicios al Consumidor de Florida. Para obtener esta licencia, cada aplicador comercial de fertilizantes primero debe estar capacitado en las mejores prácticas de manejo favorables a la Florida y recibir un certificado de finalización. Los trabajadores de Green Industries eligen participar en el programa para servir mejor a sus clientes Las agencias reguladoras deben mantener actualizadas las especificaciones del contrato con los nuevos requisitos estatales.

Green Industries Best Management Practices (GI-BMP) Certification Program for proper fertilization, pest control, irrigation, and cultural practices for landscape and pest control professionals. CEUs available. This class also includes a bonus Lunch & Learn (with SWAG!) on Sun Spot Safety!
Who should attend: Anyone working in lawn care, pest control, landscaping, or irrigation / Property managers / City and County employees, including parks, storm water, procurement, and planning / Landscape architects/designers.
Why you should attend: All commercial fertilizer applicators must have a license from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. To obtain this license, each commercial fertilizer applicator must first be trained in the Florida-Friendly Best Management Practices and receive a certificate of completion. Green Industries worker choose to participate in the program to better serve their clients Regulatory agencies need to keep contract specification updated with the new state requirements.
