Do you have a plan for your horses continued development?Designed for horses that are already under saddle, to keep things on track and further develop your progress,… or if needed get them on track.
Over five days we will evaluate their current developmental stage, highlight any gaps in their fundamentals and introduce you to a plan to build a solid foundation going forwards through our foundation programme. Both you and your horse will be learning and progressing.
Format: 09:00 - 13:00 each day will be spent as a group, this often starts without horses to lay a clear understanding of what it is that you will be doing and why, answer any questions and setting you up to make the most of your time with your horse. Then it’s time with the horses, beneficial ground work that teaches the skills needed in the saddle and sets you and your horse up to be in the right mindset and get the most success in the ridden part of the day.
Lunch is typically 13:00 - 14:00
The afternoon can be spend practicing the skills learned, using the many obstacles that Brumby Farm Horsemanship Centre has to offer, watching demonstrations or one on one lessons, participating in a one on one lesson or just taking it easy.
The format is subject to change as Russell will be gauging what he feels will give each participant the optimum benefit from their time at Brumby Farm, taking into account safety, horse’s ability, rider’s ability and what he feels will give the best experience. Groups may be split if levels of ability vary greatly.
