About this Event

Green Futures is a nature-based wellbeing and environmental learning programme that involves co-designing activities with children, young people, and families. The programme offers hands-on, outdoor sessions that encourage connection with nature, build practical skills, and foster a sense of care for the local environment.

Through creative and educational activities, participants explore the natural world while supporting their physical, emotional, and social well-being. Sessions focus on learning by doing, whether that’s building living willow structures, identifying and mapping local trees, understanding the River Roding and its wildlife, or taking part in community gardening.

Green Futures aims to empower participants with knowledge, confidence, and a deeper appreciation of green spaces, while strengthening community connections and promoting environmental responsibility for the future.
