About this Event
As part of Wirral Libraries Story Patchwork, we continue to celebrate what we love about living on the Wirral with Summer patch making sessions for children aged 6+
We are lucky to have so many green and blue spaces on the Wirral where we can get outdoors and enjoy nature.
On the provided patches, you will be encouraged to think about and depict your favourite places to commune with nature on the Wirral – maybe in the park, by the sea, up a hill or in your garden.
Our librarians will be on hand to help unlock your imagination. You can draw, write or, if you feel adventurous, use our fabric scraps to create your patch.
You will be invited to have your patch included in our Story Patchwork to be displayed in October or you can to take it home to show to your friends and family.
We hope you enjoy this valuable and creative way of thinking about your local area and sharing your favourite places with others.
This event is suitable for children aged 6+
Please note:
All children and young people must be accompanied by a responsible adult and remain for the duration of the session.
