Think you’ve got what it takes to race your way around Green Bay?Get your team together solve puzzles, play games and race your neighbours back to the finish where you’ll be treated with a sausage sizzle, bouncy castle, spot prizes and more!!
On March 15 the Community House will be turned into Race Headquarters, where you will start and finish the event.
Throughout the day you will make your way on foot or bike to the challenge locations, complete the tasks at each, and move on to the next stage.
Once you have completed all the tasks and solved the final puzzle your race will be complete.
This is not just an amazing whanau day out, we’re working with the Green Bay Resilience Group to bring some fun into the resilience sphere.
The challenge locations are not random, they are based on the locations of the neighbourhood info points that will be stood up in the event of an emergency.
By making your way to each of these locations, playing our resilience themed games we hope to spark your interest and share valuable information on how your household can become more prepared for future disasters.
