About The Greek Theatre Berkeley:
Originally financed by William Randolph Hearst in 1903, the venue is officially named the Hearst Greek Theatre, although most people just call it The Greek Theatre. The 8,500 seat amphitheater is located right in the middle of the University of California Berkeley campus and hosts a large number of concerts, performances and special events each year.

The M Ride team chooses departure times for each event based on the average travel time to the venue on different days of the week. While departure times are chosen with the goal of arriving at the venue around 1 hour before the event, there is a chance for accidents, protests or any other major traffic interruptions to delay arrival. This would only have the chance to occur in extreme situations that are beyond our control.
