In this series of Greek Study Days, Dr Neil Martin will be taking you through sections of the Gospel of Luke.
Luke 8.26-56 brings us to the familiar story of the demon-possessed man Jesus delivered near the city of Gadara and the interwoven stories of Jairus’ daughter and the woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years. The Greek text will give us the opportunity to build confidence as readers of complex narrative passages. The message the Greek words carries will open our eyes to the significance of Jesus’ presence and power in both the Jewish and the Gentile world.
